Mayfair Darjeeling

Good location, friendly staff in restaurant and bar( most overall)./ Barman/manager exceptional, made sure everything was to my satisfaction, great attitude and personable. Thought what I paid was a little high, nice room but was particularly let down that it had no view.

Location, property, ambiance, and land scaping in the hotel were really good. All the artifacts, beautifully collected from across the world were well kept. The best part was, within walking distance one could see the picturesque view of Kanchanjanga. The Mall is also at the walking distance.

The Mayfair is a great hotel to stay in. It has all the amenities for a very comfortable stay. The staff are very polite and very accommodating. The food at restaurant is good. The hotel os located within walking distance of The Mall. All in all we had a very comfortable stay.

The location is very convenient, a flat walk from the Chowrasta. The elevator down from the entrance to the reception level is most useful. Six bottles of water provided in the room. Someone going from room to room offering hot water bags was a nice gesture. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The display of photographs of Old Darjeeling was interesting.

The front desk ladies were too courteous and our accommodation received a free upgrade to a LUXURY SUITE named THE ROYAL ORCHID. The heritage Villa and modern personalisations made our stay the best !! The food, the location, the cars and especially the staff were too good and beyond all expectations! The housekeeping and the room service were fabulous and the special attention for the kids and the upscale maintenance of high-end luxury was worth every rupee spent. Too good and a must-stay place if you're looking for a luxury stay at Darjeeling.
